Shin-Yokohama & Minato Mirai

From Yokohama, we went to Shin-Yokohama for the Raumen Museum *damn. I keep spelling "museum" as "musuem"*.

It's decor was, 1950s-Japan, when instant noodles were first created.
There's also a Maggi Mee product on their museum wall.

"Future" aka "Exit". Very cute huh?

From the Raumen Museum, we stopped by Minato Mirai 21 (something like "port of the future"), to see the Floating Pier and the Yokohama Landmark Tower.

If I didn't know better, I'd say it was reminiscent of the Tower Bridge in London. But of course, I don't know any better.

I just realized that we travelled from the 20th century to the 21st, all in one day.

EDIT: Yes, I can. So, here ya' go.

Ma-rei-sia is hot. I felt like a steamed bun, the moment I stepped out of the plane.

Everything went well except for luggage, which took long enough. Makes me miss Japan 'that' much more.

Tonight, I chill. Tomorrow, I unpack.

BIG THANK YOU TO AUNT K AND UNCA J FOR TAKING GOOD CARE OF US. YOU NOW KNOW MY MOTHER OWES YOU, NOT ONE, BUT TWO, FAVOURS. WHAT'S FAMILY, IF NOT FOR FAVOURS, EH? *chuckle*

Oh look, it's bed time. So long, goo-bye.

Yokohama & Harajuku

So far, these are the pictures I've taken out for Yokohama. More will come when I can finally get my hands on the laptop that THE OTHER ONE is conveniently hogging.

I cannot chill! I'm freaking out!
WHY I am freaking out about this, I don't know.

I just found out why I haven't been getting snail mail from Curtin ever since I applied!

My effing address was wrong! Like, what the heck?!

THINK

I think I have gained weight. I feel like I've gained weight. I think Lester, sorta, kinda, maybe, cursed me. I think it's just in my head. I think some diet pills can be great but some not so. I think I should stop thinking. I think I should stop eating ice cream. Oh, I also think that if I took a picture of every hot chick here, I would've needed another 8gb SDHC.

Ciao.

ps. I think it's just my love handles talking. Don't take it seriously.

Santa! You sly dog, you!

So we went to Harajuku today to look for Abbey Dawn because we missed it the last time.

We looked through Laforet Museum, where it was located, from the 5th floor to the never-ending basement levels. Nada. Went across the street, walked here and there, when finally, this shop assistant that we asked told us that it was only there for a month. Mind you, this is the summary.

Turns out, it was a promotional thing. Because it's "ONLY AT KOHLS", it couldn't be there forever, right?

Yeah, just informing the world that it's not effing there anymore. I came all the way to Japan and all.

Abbey Dawn is not in Tokyo anymore. There, I got the keyword in.

By the way, Christmas is coming and I know which is Santa's favourite country!
It's SPAIN. Instead of milk and cookies, they leave out clean shoes and whiskey/cognac for him. Now, that's what I call being practical!

Santa's an adult. What makes you think he wants milk and cookies?! 'sides, he needs the alcohol to calm him what with his tight schedule and all.

Oh yeah, and he needs to lay off the cookies, that fat bastard.

Malaysia is going to be HOT

So I've noticed that most Japanese, young and old, have flip phones... and white ear plugs. I mean, WHITE; not black, not any other colour.

Also, they probably get lots of threats being Japan and all, so when an announcement comes on saying that the police and train authorities are on alert of anything suspicious, you don't have to worry. Hey, it's just a suspicious looking dude carrying a suspicious looking case. No biggie.

I stumbled into a guy on the train and he stared back at me with those menacing eyes that practically said, "what da madder wif yoo?! F**king tourists."

I got an email from Mum and I saw the subject line: "Credit card spending in Japan".

Like holy shit, I don't know why I jumped.

I didn't spend your money like a spoilt brat though. Honest!

On a final note - I like it here. Don't really want to leave just yet.

So... the number of posts has been dwindling. Mostly because it's been really cold and I get put off. And lately I've been preoccupied by a DS-Lite. I tell you, that will be the doom of me.

Imma goin' to Odaiba today!

Instead of walking into the Abbey Dawn store when I was in Harajuku, I walked into GAP, across the street. DOH!

Didn't even know Abbey Dawn was RIGHT THERE. Should've checked for the address that much earlier.

I was in the supermarket today and saw half a fish for sale.
What do you get when you have half a fish?

I'm aware that there aren't any shots of Mt. Fuji in here. None that are proper anyway. It's because, just as I was snapping, strong winds blew and white clouds came, conveniently blocking views of the mountain top. Hence, picture 7.

You can see Mt. Fuji from Hakone, Japan.
